Description Anglo/US relations and access to delicate papers and the Year of Europe initiative. Record of a discussion at Camp David between Prime Minister Edward Heath and President Richard Nixon also attended by Sir Burke Trend and Dr Henry Kissinger in which they discussed commercial and monetary policy the enlarged EEC, Japan, Energy policy and the re-evaluation of the US oil import programme; US considering the development of two Soviet oilfield in which they would collaborate; the sale of aircraft to China; East-West relations, MBFR, SALT II and MIRV, the CSCE, NATO, the Middle East and commercial policy; the Prime Minister congratulates the President on the termination of the war in Vietnam.
