| Description | Dr Henry Kissinger and James Callaghan discuss Vietnam and the difficulties facing the South which according to Kissinger were of the United States Congress' making through there cutting of ammunition supplies by 50 per cent. On the United Nations Kissinger said that the US would take a stronger line on it next year. US might cut down on contributions of which the oil producers could easily make up any cuts in contributions. Regarding Energy Kissinger said he thought the oil weapon would only be used again in the event of an Arab/Israeli war. Talk on Nuclear matters including Callaghan asking for US support on UK proposal for peaceful nuclear explosions (PNE).On the Middle East discussions of possible peace talks in Geneva between the Israeli's and Palestinians.
